Who we are
Types of data we collect – Google Analytics (and similar)
Many sites use tools to monitor and measure traffic to their web sites. Whilst these are largely considered safe, some data is transferred to third parties for analysis. For this reason, the SERDATF web site does not use these types of analytics.
Our website has been scanned by “Cookiebot” in October 2018, which determined that the site uses three cookies and that these were essential for the basic functions of the web site such as page navigation and access to secure areas of the website (report available on request). These cookies expire at the end of each session.
As part of the registration process for SERDATF members to access parts of the web site, we collect personal information. We use that information to allow access to elements of the web site that are not open to the public, and to provide information about the members of the SERDATF to the public. SERDATF members have consented to have their information on this web site, and can request that it be removed at any time. Members (when logged in) can also view, amend or delete their information, or can request that this be done for them.
The very limited information we collect is only used by us, as we have explained and we do not share it with any outside parties.
Access to your personal information
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to Chris Purnell (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Changes to this privacy notice
This policy was last reviewed on 22 October 2018 and will be reviewed again if we change the way in which we gather or use your information.
